The club meets at 7.00 pm on a Monday evening (Bank Holidays excepted) at the
Lion Hotel, situated in the town centre on the A6. We enjoy fellowship over a meal
and then listen to a talk or presentation organised in turn by the members -
We also make visits to local companies, historical buildings and the theatre and hold social events as part of our fund raising activities.
VISITORS SHOULD NOTE THAT THEY MUST TRY TO BOOK THEIR MEAL WITH THE LION HOTEL AT LEAST A DAY BEFORE THEY VISIT US.
(6.30 for 7.00 pm)
It is our 6th Annual Pride of Belper and Duffield Presentation Luncheon on Monday 14th October at Shottle Hall so there will not be a meeting in the evening.
For the meeting on 21st, John Scotney has invited Danny Murphy to talk about the ‘Polio Campaign in India’. To eat, there is Beef Lasagne with Garlic Bread & Salad or Vegetable Curry with Rice.
The following week is an Open Club Council Meeting. On the menu is a Roast Dinner or Shallot & Goats Cheese Tart.
